Introducing the "Collections" feature of the Higher Intellect Documents Wiki where we assemble specific groups of documents by a common association or theme of specific interest. Each document located within a specific collection will be assigned the corresponding category tag in addition to the primary subject category topic.
Document Collections
- Appropriate Technology - Appropriate Technology refers to forms of technology that are best suited to utilize the available resources and human skills in a given society. This concept is especially pertinent in poorer countries, where the transfer of high technology may be disadvantageous. Instead, appropriate technology emphasizes less capital-intensive and more environmentally friendly technologies, challenging the assumption that technological advance necessarily equates to societal progress.
- Manson Family - The Manson Family was a commune, gang, and cult led by criminal Charles Manson that was active in California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The group at its peak consisted of approximately 100 followers, who lived an unconventional lifestyle, frequently using psychoactive drugs, including amphetamine and hallucinogens such as LSD. This collection includes any documents related to the members of the Manson Family or their actions.
