Overview

Profile pages are crafted to provide a comprehensive overview of the production figures and business connections of individuals or competitors. There are three categories (Lender, Loan Officer, and Real Estate Agent) of profile pages—referred to as "personas"—along with the diverse data visualizations they feature.


Navigating the Profile Pages

  • Profile Header: The header gives you an immediate snapshot of the individual, displaying their role, NMLS ID, current company, and market ranking. From here, you can quickly add the person to your Favorites or conduct further research using the integrated links to Google and NMLS Consumer Access.

  • Filter Bar: The Filter Bar is your primary tool for analysis. It allows you to focus the entire page's data on specific criteria that matter to you, such as a particular time period (e.g., last 12 months), geography (state, county), or transaction type (e.g., FHA purchase loans).

  • Overview Data: Based on your active filters, this section summarizes the most critical performance metrics and adjusts to the professional's role:

    • Lender/Loan Officer: Total Loans, Total Loan Volume, Median Loan Amount, Media Interest Rate.

    • Real Estate Agent: Total Sales, Total Sales Amount, Median Loan Amount, and Total Loan Amount.

  • Transactions Over Time: This chart tracks the persona's production over time and compares it to the median production volume of their top 50 peers in the selected market.

  • Agent Role: This graph shows how an agent divides their efforts, illustrating the percentage of deals where they represented the buyer, the seller, or acted as a dual agent.

  • Loan & Purchase Loan Types: These charts provide a deeper look into the composition of a professional's business:

    • Loan Purpose: See the split between Purchase, Refinance, and Junior Lien transactions.

    • Purchase Type: Understand if they specialize in Resale, New Construction, or land deals.

  • Product Mix: Discover product specialities of an invididual or organziation. This chart visualizes their portfolio mix across different mortgage types, such as Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans.

  • Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) Census Tract: This metric shows the percentage of the professional's loans made in census tracts officially designated as Low-to-Moderate Income, which can be a key indicator for CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) compliance and market reach.

  • Origination Channel: Based on Cotality’s classification, loans are categorized as wholesale, retail, or other. This distinguishes mortgage brokers (wholesale) from loan officers at a single lender (retail). The other category includes correspondent loans and those that are not clearly classified.

  • Conforming Loan: This chart shows how much of an originated loans fall within the conforming loan limits set by the FHFA, versus non-conforming loans like jumbo mortgages.

  • Property Type: The property type chart shows whether the loan was originated for a residential or non-residential parcel.

  • Transactions by Region: Identify an individual's geographic footprint. This table lists their top five markets (by County, Zip Code, or State) based on total loan volume, showing you exactly where they do business.

  • Connections: This powerful table reveals the pipeline behind originations by showing a persona's top partnerships. For example, a loan officer's profile will show their top lender and real estate agent connections.
