tsk, tsk.

i'm skipping work because, to tie everything together, i'm a horrible person.

oops.

[in other news...

my mom said she might give me her manolo blahniks. woohoo. hope they fit.

such is the fabulous life

of a poor, struggling college student.]

well, i hate the cold

& finals week.

makes things all kinds of fucked up.

& for now,

back to bed...

fock.

last night, billy's friend alexis had a holiday party. it was sooo cute. they decorated their apartment with wreaths & ribbons & lights & stockings & reindeer & santas. they had hors d'oeurves. including salmon on crackers, cheese, spinach dip, little vegetables, mini hotdogs. everyone dressed up (& complimented me on my shoes!) we drank this punch made of vodka, kool-aid, sprite, & sherbet. the sherbet was the icing on the pie. you know. it was such an adorable party, & i definitely want to do something like that here.

black & white party (a la laguna beach), anyone?

day from hell.

yesterday was the day from hell.

my gigantic lesportsac was so heavy, i paid $6 for a quiznos salad, most boring classes ever.

this entry is going to be pretty boring because i don't have time to stop & chat, but it just reflects the utter monotony of the day.

can't wait for tonight. :)

yay.

I am writing just to thank you for making this program a great success.  You
were all enthusiastic and helped to make this night a lot better than I
expected; I know by the residents' smiles that they enjoyed it as well.  I was
so glad that I got to meet all of you and that the pretty girl turnout was so
high.  If you have any ideas for future programs, I encourage you to contact
me.  Thanks.

ahh, the sense of humor of honors students is always so cute, cheesy, & (flattering).

went to brookline, a retirement home, & sung christmas carols. put me in a good mood, & it was really nice to see the people singing along. we stayed & talked to them afterwards. one woman was 101. wow. if they could have...i know they all have so many stories to tell.

WBB115 P S U (6:06:06 PM): out loving cathy as hard as i can and being as whipped as possible and leaving my roommate allll alone
skabunny714 (6:06:30 PM): see i told u we shouldve gone back to ur place yesterday
skabunny714 (6:06:39 PM): & we shouldve brought eddie pie

so saturday & sunday were boyfriend time, as can be inferred from the away msg that billy's roommate eddie put up on billy's aim.

friday, billy slept over after he did the power 20 minutes with my friends.

saturday, we made roast chicken, mashed potatoes (with chives, cheese, bacon bits, butter, & sour cream), biscuits, & apple pie. sooo yummy. & we topped it all off with a bottle of wine. cabernet.

sunday morning, we made french toast (with pepperidge farm cinnamon swirl bread, eggs, apple sauce, butter, & real maple syrup) & hash browns.

sunday evening, we made pasta (with tri-colored rotini, sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce, bacon bits, parmesan cheese, & chicken). mmm.

so, we rock. & we're trying to get each other fat. so we can eat...each other. that didn't sound too hott, but you know.

eating good in the neighborhood.

buns.

i didn't get superdrunk like i would've wanted, but that's ok.

it was a canning weekend, meaning all the frats & clubs have people go out of town to go canning (stand on the side of the road & collect money in tin cans) for cancer. we have the largest philanthropic student-run organization thingy in the nation, called thon. i'm not too big on the hype, but the cause is just & righteous, so, yeah.

everyone seems to be studying all the time. it's crunch time.

on friday, we had power hour at my place. mark, andy, matt, dan, emo-looking kid with glasses from pittsburgh whose name i forget even though i talked to him a lot, adrienne, cat, rafa, sutton, lindsay, billy. i have a big apartment, lots of couch space, & a big tv. so that rocks. we only had 1 case (30 cans) for all of us because mark told me only like 5 people were coming over. so none of us got really drunk, though i think some of them got buzzed. & it was an 80s power hour cd i dl-ed from online. perfect.

i got invited to this party across the street, so sutton, adrienne, & i went to scope it out. we drank some beer there, then took some in big blue cups back to our apartment for everyone else. we would've brought everyone over, but i thought it would be a bit conspicuous to go with a group of 10 people to this party that wasn't too packed of this apartment of a guy i hardly knew.

but we still had fun, regardless. lots of shenanigans happened. wink, wink. it's ok because we designated a room for shenanigans, & that wasn't my bedroom, so it was fine.

will post pictures later.
