Change of focus.

I noticed that this comm is pretty quiet of late, and only one person responded to the post about fic challenge.

Thinking about this I decided that the focus of the comm is too narrow, so as of today it is now open to all Torchwood canon divergent AUs.

Canon divergent AU are those that veer of from a point in canon, such as Suzie Costello got away at the end of They Keep Killing Suzie or Jack and Tosh got stuck permenently in 1941 or Owen left with Diane in her plane. This comm isn't open to total AUs, ie the Torchwood team are all highschool students or they are the crew of a ww2 submarine.

The comms bio has been changed to reflect this.

Fic: Secrets and Hope.

Title: Secrets and Hope.

Genre: Happy ended angst, hurt/comfort.
Summary: As Torchwood rebuilds following the events of CoE the government is still keeping secrets and it's up to Ianto to reveal the truth.
Spoilers: Children of Earth days 4 and 5.
Word count: 20,500.
Authors note: CoE AU from day 5. Complete in nine parts.

The light seems too bright as Ianto opens his eyes, the strong smell of hospital antiseptic filling the room.

Request for challenge prompts.

Earlier in the week I posted asking if there was any interest in having a fic challenge. Being as there were a few responses, all of which favoured having a few general prompts, I thought I’d give people the chance to suggest a few prompt ideas.

I’ll leave the prompt post open for a week, 21th – 28th November. After that I’ll pick three of the prompts to use for this first challenge.

The challenge, which will be open to fic, art or vids, will run from 1st December to 31st January, because I know people are likely to be busy over Christmas.

The comm. will still be open to non-challenge fic/art/vids when the challenge is running.
