I just got word that our friends gave birth to a baby girl on Friday night who was still born. She was to be induced on Saturday but went into labour friday night. They couldn't find the heart beat, and baby Sarah was born not of this world.
I cannot imagine the pain, nor the understanding to try and wrap your mind around this. My heart goes to my friends and their family. On Tuesday she'd had a stress test and everything was fine. On Friday the baby was born dead. They did an autospy but nothing was wrong that they could see, and though they had to send away for results and are currently waiting for answers.
On the same night, friends of our Sam's family - at the same hospital, also lost a baby girl, the exact same way. Interestingly enough, these two people who are both connected to Sam and I, didn't know each other until these events unfurled, and now they do.
It makes no sense to me heh.. but there has to be a lesson to the maddess?
Rest is Peace, baby Sarah. You were a beautiful baby girl.
(And yes, I've seen photos heh. as harrowing as they were, the baby actually looks at peace. It just wasn't her time.. )
