quick check in
Hello!
Just a quick check in while I've got a few minutes.
Having a really good time so far, although the weather has turned really cold. My mom got into Montreal on Friday night. We went to Old Montreal yesterday and it was like stepping back in time to the Victorian era. It was absolutely beautiful. The history and architecture was fantastic.
Today we are heading toward a museum which sits upon ruins of part of the old city that date back to 1600's or so, and where they are currently working on an archaelogical dig. I'm really looking forward to it.
Food is expensive, then again though, its like being in France LOL.
The hotel is really nice. The room is good, and the breakfasts are a treat. I start my 2nd conference tomorrow, which is the LONG HAUL. Then return home on Friday night.
