Selena Gomez heads into a medical building with mom Mandy on Monday morning (September 26) in Los Angeles.

The 19-year-old actress was just announced as the host for MTV 2011 Europe Music Awards! The event will take place at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 6th.

“I’m so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMA – it’s a dream come true,” Selena shared in a statement.
