i was digging through spam mail. my goal was inbox zero on an old account, i wanted to see how thrashed it was, identify if the thing should ne nuked from orbit and replaced.
surprising, i found a note from live journal. they were congratulating me on my 20+ year old account.

wtf? that thing is still around? what nightmares of inappropriateness dwell within? what cringe worthy nuggets of gold would i find, haunting my future ability to be doxxed or cancelled?
i found all of the above, but also a bizarre time capsule of lost friends IRL who i can no longer contact. orhers who have passed on.
Nostalgia for a time pre-facebook urged me to post today. who is still out there? who still gets random email notifixations of feed updates?
