So does anyone who lives in a warm climate want to let me crash with them for a while? I f***ing hate the snow!!! I couldn't get my car out of the driveway this morning for about 20 minutes, and by the time I did I know my blood pressure was maxed out at a dangerous level. I was late for work. Anyway, I'm ready for spring.
My life is becoming very busy and complex and complicated. I think I officially have a girlfriend now, although neither of us want to admit it ; ) This is nice, but I don't want to get too high. The higher you get, the harder you fall...I am cautiously optimistic.
Tonight Christy and I are going to Susanne's birthday party-night out in Cincy. I'm looking forward to it, and I'm excited about seeing Christy. This is all happening so fast.
I got your package today, thank you!!! I love the cds, and am listening to the mix one now. I will see you soon...
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Mine was very sleepy and relaxing and I ate a lot and drank a lot but it was nice.
My family is taking me to dinner at Amar India tomorrow night for my birthday...this should be interesting, seeing as only my sister Tina and I like Indian food and the rest of them don't...or at the very least, have no idea what to order. I could be cruel and order for them, maybe some chicken vindaloo at spice level 10, heh heh!! Ahh well, it beats the shit out of Outback or something.
I just got home about an hour ago, I had a date with Christy : ) We went to the IMAX and saw Into the Deep, and then had dinner at Dewey's at Newport on the Levee. We went to a bar near her house and talked for hours, and played video games and laughed...she's awesome!!! We had a long kiss goodnight, and it was amazing and great and I'm happy! I think I'm falling for her...
I'm going to Dayton tomorrow, taking the day off work, and will be up there for the weekend. Goodnight, all!
I had a date last night...I met this girl named Christy a few weeks ago, and we really hit it off and met up at Jillian's last night. She's 26 (27 on Christmas Day), very cute, very bubbly, outgoing, talkative, and just awesome! She seems very pulled together and genuine, which is a good thing. I haven't mentioned her to anyone until now because I wanted to wait and see how things went. But I have a good feeling about her and I am supposed to do something with her this afternoon or evening.
I wanted to mention how thankful I am for the following friends, anandia, live_and_learn, missyslife, bacardilol, frozenbitch, vwhippiegirl, ragamuffin and babyraver. You all have helped me over this time, and your words mean so much! Thank you, and I hope I didn't overlook anyone. I will update soon as to what's going on with Christy. And for those who have called me recently, I've been busy so I hope you understand. We'll talk soon!
I just got back from the Southern Culture on the Skids, BR5-49 show at Bogart's. I can't hear too well, and I smell like smoke. I'm also tired, and a little buzzed. It's time for bed, methinks!
Last night I watched Shallow Hal with Dee, and had a very nice time. I was a little out of it, though, and Dee kept asking me if I was awake because I probably looked like I was about to conk out at any moment. But it was good to see her and hang out; I always like to spend time with her : ) Sorry I wasn't more awake, but ya know...
Oh yeah, we also had Domino's, and I kept bringing Dee Mike's Hard Lemonades. She amused herself by trying to read the microprinting on the bottle label, heh heh. It was a good time.
I was sitting outside in the driveway, listening to the rain and the wind. There are huge trees on all sides, and there are many leaves that have fallen and they rustle in the breeze. I was reminded of that scene in Vanilla Sky where they are in the street, and there are tons of flower petals on the pavement and they're walking through them. It was very beautiful to be out there, looking at the sky and listening to everything.
