Hey Im new to this community and hopefully i'll reach my goals before I go on holiday! (in one munf)

Height: 5"5

Weight: around 135lbs

Goal weight: 121lbs

I know I probably won't reach my goals, but if I do lose some weight it'll be a start and i'll feel better when I go on holidayyyyyyy!

Ruby Pounds the Pavement to Lose Weight

"One day after watching, I was like, 'I need to go to the gym,'" recalls Molly Sullivan, 42, a human resources worker from Camarillo, Calif. "Ten days later, I joined a gym and now we're four months later and I'm losing weight."

Molly has shed 41 pounds! So it was no surprise that she was among the the hundreds of people who came out yesterday morning to join Ruby (see photo above) on the Los Angeles stop of her nationwide "Walk Across America" tour.

"I saw these women crying on Oprah, talking about how they never went out of their homes," Ruby told us. "They're fighting the same thing I'm fighting, but I've always gone out my home. I was 716 pounds and I lived my life no matter what."

Ruby recently heard from one such woman who started riding a bike after she saw her doing it. "She said these kids were making fun of her so she said, 'I'm not going to do this anymore,'" Ruby said. "But then she thought about it and said, 'Yes, I am,' because she heard what I said, that they'll eventually shut up. She said they did shut up and now they're her friends!"

Hello to all

Hey

Just joined this page as I am trying to keep an online journal of myself losing weight in an honest way as it has been difficult to keep track and I keep yo-yoing with my weight.
I have joined wait watchers and so far it has helped, but I am just hoping that being online and not being “judged” will help me motivate myself to put down the bad foods and wise up and not kid myself into thinking that that extra helping want do any damage. When actually it’s another 2 hours of working out on the treadmill.
Will also put up any tips and recipes I create to help out others :)

Okay...

I've done a lot of diets in the past... mostly ones I cooked up on my own. Mostly crash diets. I'm looking for one that isn't a crash diet. I'm looking for a diet that gets me all the vitamins, proteins, and carbs that my body NEEDS. I'm also looking for one that doesn't take a lot of cooking or preparation because I don't have a lot of time.

Here are my stats:

Age: Seveteen
Gender: Female
Height: 5"7
Weight: 275 pounds

I'm a vegitarian, also. Really, what i'm looking for is how many servings of fruit, veggies, dairy, meat (I could live through chicken, I think), Carbs, ect. I should be getting a day according to age and gender and such.

If anyone could help me out it would be MUCH appreicated.
