Quite understandably this comm has been quiet since the show was canceled - but does anyone still have fic or other fannish goods they've got unfinished for this pairing?
If so please comment, and maybe we can stir up some enthusiasm together or even get a rewatch going on to do so. :)
So, as the holiday period nears and we have no new episodes at the moment I thought it'd be nice to have a challenge. I'm not sure doing a ficathon or secret santa exchange would work so well, but I figured we could try for something like a mini-month of love, counting the 12 days up to Christmas or perhaps going for something every other day for the most of the month.
The challenge for the items, be they vids, graphics, fic or other, would be to fit a holiday theme and include at least one of Diana or Marco is a major role, though hopefully someone wold write something shippy. ;) The holiday theme doesn't have to cover Christmas/Yuletide etc, it could be any holiday in the year.
It could be a holiday one of the returnees celebrates that gets brought up in a case and includes Marco or Diana's thoughts upon it/key to the case. You could work in any holiday you like, in any way you like - I just thoughts holidays would be an interesting theme because the show never has time to deal with even the character's birthdays (which I'll say can be done as a holiday).
If people like we could have it so anyone could be allowed to leave prompts for the challenge that could be fulfilled - though with the nature of the challenge and it not being a ficathon then that wouldn't be guaranteed, but the prompts would be there if any participants needed inspiration or wished to further their challenge to create something for someone else specifically.
Anyone interested and likely to product anything for such an event? It'd be very helpful if people could cast their vote as it were for which format they'd prefer, count up to 25th, every other day in the month roughly, or anything other format suggested. If we have enough participants doing another month of love would be considered too. But anyway, let me know your thoughts, please comment.
