Tiptum Climate
Having posted about geography and especially climate recently, I made a new climate map for Tiptum, the continent on which Tiptum sits. This one reflects current landforms and my understanding of the effects of altitude.
And a draft:
The old world map is here: https://www.tumblr.com/yuk-tepat/824171394697969664/climate
This one blocky and less colorful. However it gives me (hopefully) a better idea of the environment, especially in the highlands.
Actually itβs still not entirely correct. Starting almost right at 30 degree N, well within the subtropical high pressure zone, Tepat ought to have a much drier climate, by almost any method I use for plotting climate zones. But nevertheless it is theoretically too wet, because Tepat cannot be allowed to be a desert. One putative explanation is that the large enclosed warm-water sea prevents this, but I donβt know if that really works. Would anyone notice if I just shifted the whole continent 5 degrees north?

I am so obsessed with your idea of the friend charms, I might actually cry. Of course there should be a platonic version of a love letter. Of course there should be something to let your friends know just how much you mean to them and for them to accept it mean it is a mutual feeling. I think I would actually start sobbing if I received one. I want to try doing this
Our own world needs more platonic stuff like this to be common

Wait till you hear that the Pokemon side of my settings have a specific βfriend adoptionβ relationship thatβs treated with the same officiality and proposal/courting culture as irl dating, where the exchange is explicitly about trusting the friend to give suggestions with your best interest in mind, and honoring their effort by actually following through with their suggestions (and itβs a mirror of the pokemon-trainer connection in battles)
This reads as just being helpful to us but Clarinet is very blatantly courting Mewtwo as an adoptee here (not that Mewtwo is aware)

watching death note with my family and after the college entrance episode my mom asked offhandedly if anyone had ever pictured L and light as a couple before. it felt like one single white dove had landed on a crystalline lake in a beautiful pure clearing. no i dont think anyones ever thought of that before
