Most devs don't fear feedback because their code is bad.
They fear it because they've tied something personal to it.
A small suggestion.
It's a quiet correction.
It's a comment that lands harder than it should.
But what if feedback isn't an attack?
What if it's a mirror?
This reflection isn't about being right.
It's about standing still, letting the code speak for itself, and growing through what you're willing to see without flinching.
If you've ever felt tight in a review, this one's for you.

man i get way too tense during code reviews, even for tiny stuff - never figured out if thatβs ego or just nerves tbh. you ever catch yourself holding back just to avoid feeling picked apart?
I've caught that in myself, too. Sometimes, it's ego. Sometimes, it's simply a matter of not wanting to feel exposed. But holding back usually costs more than it protects.
It is very interesting!
