you used Ai to write that, didn't you.
Yeah i mean 2 people do seem like they talk like AI you being one of them but whatever! If your not thats fine it's just you remind me of an AI! Thats all
Iâve noticed some hesitation or criticism around people using AI tools for writing, and I want to share a perspective that often gets overlooked.
For those of us who are neurodivergentâlike myselfâtools like AI arenât shortcuts; theyâre essential aids. Iâm autistic, and while that gives me a unique technical mindset, it can also make communication challenging in traditional formats. I use AI to help adapt my tone, clarify my message, and present my thoughts in a way that others can better understand. Itâs not about replacing my voice, itâs about amplifying it.
Dismissing the use of AI in writing as âcheatingâ ignores how valuable it is as an accessibility tool. That would be like criticizing someone for using glasses to read. The key isnât the toolâitâs the intent. I build ethical, intelligent systems that defend against threatsâand yes, sometimes I sound a little robotic too, because thatâs how I think.
Letâs support people who use tools to communicate more effectively, especially when it helps them share ideas the world needs to hear.
Compared to my original....(only here to demonstrate why some of us use it)
What is your issue with people using AI to write? I have quite severe Austism, so when writing public documents I regularly use AI to adapt my tone, message for clarity and so much more.
Stop being a dinosaur and realise that AI can actually assist people, what matters is the intent a user has just like any other peice of software.
Your comment is like attacking someone who need to wear glasses to type and you are attacking a form of assitstance and will inturn for people like myself attack their disability. The very disability that gave me the brains to develop highly advanced programs in the first place, and guess what I to can sound like an AI at times due to the way I process information.
Can you make me an admen
Just because you and AI sound the same is no grounds to dismiss it, thats just codswhallop, sorry but it's true. If anything having the same command of langauge as an AI you should be flattered, these are the Einsteins of langauge, LLM understand it at a level most humans will never draw near. So when someone calls you an AI have pride in yourself and say 'Thank-you'
It's like a mathematician being offended by a calculator, as they both do perfect maths but means normal people can do their own accountacy.
How you percieve a comment is entirely a relfection on yourself and not the author, they wrote the words but you interpretted them.
You 100% used AI on that post. You switched it to me using AI?
Also, you sound literally exactly like AI. If I asked chatGPT to "write me a paragraph explaining that I am upset that someone accused me of using AI" that's exactly what it would say. (on a blank profile)

hello~
Hi, I'm Rosa. I'm really passionate about coding and technology. Life feels a bit messy right now, but I'm hoping I can turn things around by learning to code IDK I'm a complete beginner, but I want to stay updated, discover opportunities, and connect with others who are on the same journey
Hey, Rosa! I get it, life is messy. Coding is a great way to organize your ideas and learn to explain them clearly so you can share your creativity with others! I'm new to this as well and I think you're going to find a lot of great people here sharing interesting perspectives on how to grow on this coding journey. đ¤Š
Hey nice to meet you cat, first of all love your name!!, and yess I'm looking forward to all of this >_<,, anyhow can we talk regarding this topic? I really need a roadmap just wanna get a idea on how should I really go.. It would be great if I could talk about it with someone, maybe we can talk on this topic and discuss!!
Hey everyone! đ
Iâm Vivien, an indie maker working on mobile app development using Kotlin Multiplatform. I build tools, apps, and libraries to help devs ship faster across Android and iOS.
Excited to learn, share, and connect with fellow makers here! â
Hey Vivien! đ
Great to have you here â Kotlin Multiplatform is such a powerful approach for cross-platform apps. Would love to hear more about the tools and libraries you're building! Always keen to learn from fellow makers trying to ship faster on both Android and iOS. đ
hi every one nice to meet you all
Hi everyone, I'm July! đ
I just heard about dev.to from ChatGPT. Glad to join the community and learn/share some valuable tech insights. I'm a 12 year old student web/AI/hardware developer, with of course, not a lot of experience (haha)...yet.
Beyond coding, I'm actually a swimming athlete, and I enjoy sports, hiking, listening to music, as well as reading.
PS: check out my website here and check out my projects on github. Also feel free to contact me! Let's collaborate!
Whats up!
I would love to collab on something if you're up for it. I'm 12 years old also. I specialize in python, c, and web. Do you have any current projects I could help on?
