The ducks have quacked and the code has been cracked — it’s time to announce the winners of the Amazon Q Developer "Quack the Code" Challenge!
In just under two weeks, the community built browser extensions, tools for automating safe dependency upgrades, Kubernetes companions, games about HTTP codes, and so much more! The judges were thrilled to see such a huge variety of high quality submissions across our three challenge prompts.
This was a highly competitive challenge and whether or not you win, we hope you’re proud of what you accomplished.

@cloudcraftcurator delivers an impressively scoped command-line tool that leverages Amazon Q Developer to analyze and reduce AWS EFS storage costs.
We appreciated this project's focus on real-world developer pain points and its thoughtful, clean implementation.

@theslladev built an educational web game that teaches system navigation skills through story-driven trivia.
The retro aesthetic inspired by DOS/Windows 95 was a delight, as was the accessibility consideration for visually impaired users.

@mohamednizzad demonstrates how Amazon Q Developer can help solve real-world problems and boost productivity through building a Personal Finance Manager application.
This submission shined for its depth, clarity, and value to those leveraging AI-assisted development.
