From Spark to Ship: Building My First Debian AppπŸ’»

This Wednesday morning, I got a spark ✨ β€” Why not turn my Python project into a .deb package?I started by referring to some online tutorials for about an hour πŸ“Ί, then jumped into building the package πŸ› οΈ. The first attempt seemed to work, until a few bugs πŸ› crept in. After debugging πŸ” and refining, the fourth attempt finally worked perfectly βœ… β€” all of this within 6 hours ⏱️, including the tutorial time. That’s when Cosmo4U, my first Debian app, was born. πŸŒŒπŸ”“

Let me be clear β€” AI didn’t write my code or create the Debian package βŒπŸ€–. All the development was done by me πŸ’ͺ. AI only came into the picture during the delivery process πŸ“¦, helping me generate the webpage 🌐 for downloading the app.

With my precise prompts πŸ“, AI understood the layout 🎨, and after a couple of tries πŸ” + my final tweaks 🧩, the download page was live in 10 minutes πŸš€.

AI made things easier and faster ⚑, not a replacement. Think back β€” when React βš›οΈ or Angular πŸ“ came out, many said, β€œBuild from scratch, don’t use others’ code.”But today, they’ve shaped web development πŸ”§. AI is the same β€” just another step forward πŸ“ˆ.

Cosmo4U isn’t just a one-time launch πŸš€ β€” it’s now my base for future updates πŸ†• and marks a new step in my Linux development journey πŸ§πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’».

Try Cosmo4U now at bhuvaneshm.in/cosmo4u and unlock your universe πŸŒ πŸ’«.

I’d really appreciate if you could take a look at my Debian package project and share any mistakes or improvements I can make. Always eager to learn and grow! Thanks in advance. 🐧
