So remember this plot bunny dream from, like, two years ago? I started writing something from it for Jared's birthday and didn't manage to finish it (no surprise there!), so here's the bit that I have.

It should probably be pathetic that the highlight of Jared's day would always be the moment the elevator door slides open and Jensen looks up to smile at him.

They've timed it perfectly over the course of a year - Jensen would be in the elevator heading down to their apartment lobby when Jared calls for it at 7:30 a.m. every morning. They would use the few minutes taken to descend to talk about inane things - last night's football game or Jared's woes at work or Jensen's six year-old's ridiculous childish jokes at the dinner table.

It's easy and comforting, and if Jared looks forward to it simply because he likes to see the way Jensen's green eyes light up and hear the brilliant sound of his laughter, then it's nobody's business but his own.

Right now my priority is to finish my S/D minibang. Who knows when/if this is going to get written. :|

Whoa. I guess it's been a while. :|

→ I am scrambling to catch up with spn_j2_bigbang due to the sheer amount of awesomeness that's been posted so far. *sigh* I have, like, over a dozen lined up to read. Let's just pretend I've gone through every thing I wanted to read for last year's round. *cough*

→ S/D minibang is going very, very slowly. But I think (possibly) I'll manage to meet the deadline. Now to worry about finding a beta and getting claimed for art. Ack!

→ Apparently I'm more excited about S8 more than I thought I would. :) I have ~theories and stuff.

→ Speaking of Show, I've been thinking about making icons again. The last batch I did was the one episode one icon thingy for S1. Maybe I should do one for S2?

→ If you haven't seen this, you've been missing out. secretlytodream is crazy talented. I have the utmost respect to people who can vid already, but this made me sob like a baby and it's nothing short of perfection. ♥♥

It occurs to me that it's been a while since my last post. Not sure if anybody even notice my absence, but yeah, just letting you guys know I'm still alive. I'm sort of drowning in my own mucus at the moment, but alive.

In other less exciting news, I've given up on my big bang. There's no way in this real world that I would be able to write 19k in, like, 10 days, so. I'll stash that sucker along with my unfinished JDM/Jensen fic. :/
