*sniffles* Trying to get over the last episode mourning, I'll go onto pointless speculation, possibly => ficcing. In Simon Acts Up, Fox wondered if Wolf's parents would like him. *grin* Which made me wonder... would they? I mean, wolves seem in detn-world to be pretty macho, at least in theory, and Fox is so very, very... camp. And he would be sure to be recognised as Wolf's "friend" only with the quote marks intact. On the other hand, he's very very rich, and unlike Wolf, has actually killed and eaten at least two people during the series, so he's actually a far more successful predator...

I'm just wondering if Fox would really be seen as a suitable substitute for the wife who ran off with a timber wolf. Seeing that Barry seems to think Fox is his mother in any case...

But the oddest thing about that episode, of course, was that it didn't seem to bother Rabbit at all that his daughter kissed a wolf in front of everybody.

Oh, and on the mother front - Rabbit doesn't really seem to mourn his wife, who was killed by Canadian wolves, at all, and Lucy acts as if it was long ago and not worth crying over anymore. But considering how little Peter and Emily are, her death must have been less than a year ago at most... Rabbits have particulalry short memories?

One last speculation. Simon mentions a butchers' shop in one episode. Where does the meat come from?

So... when Wolf was walking out to catch the taxi to the airport and Fox said: "I can't stand it any more, I -"

Bets on how he was going to finish that sentence?

It makes me all happy that this morning's episode was one Romana has seen. Well, happy anyway. Because the subtext of Wolf taking his sons away from Fox to learn how to be real wolves was so very blatant, and Fox was so very heartbroken once he realised it was really going to happen... "My dear, it's not a problem. Just tell me who you want bribed."

Although my favourite moment had to be poor Wolf asking his sons if they saw a problem with him having to save them from a fluffy little bunny rabbit...

This one is definitely #8 Vote For Lucy. I thought I should do this particular one as a thank you to Chara for her drabble...

DIstraction from depression tecnique for this morning - working on the ep guide for TV Tome. I'm having diffuclty in that the episodes are obviously being shown out of sequence here, and while some episodes are easy enough to match up to their titles, others are trickier. I think this is #6 Trust Rabbit, but I'm not sure...

Before I go to bed, a possibly-sedative-induced insight:

Fox and Wolf so are Team Rocket from Pokemon. Just substitute Rabbit for Pikachu, and there you have it - the complex plots that never turn out to plan, the tendency to dig holes and then fall into them, and, of course, the tendency to wear drag at the drop of a hat.... and the Very Very Gay team member, naturally.

Just thought I'd share. After all, Pokemon was my major fandom for a long, long, time, and yet another one in which I completely flipped over the baddies.

You know, whoever owns this community is probably going to be rather startled at it suddenly coming alive...

Nothing helpful to say at present, except that... oh... would anyone be interested in a rpg for it? It would have such a tiny cast it would be more like an interactive story, but I can't let the idea go. I have a terrible desire to be Lucy and all tomboyish.
