Can't unturn the wheels of fate...

"Hey, any and everybody still 'round. Desired Enemy was to play two sets at JR's on July 15. Due to work, the first set had to be cancelled, and finding this unaceptable Steve Tomascik and Tom Biggart ('Murdoc') quit. The rest of the members apologize if you came to KC's Tap on June 30 and found us absent; it was impossible to find replacements 48 hours from showtime.

So this particular incarnation of musicians collectively called Desired Enemy is done. We had a great time, sincere thanks for everybody that supported us. Special thanks to Steve Tomascik Sr., who is still the coolest and most self-less man anywhere.

The remaining members have decided to undergo a change; some time will pass by. When there is more to tell Ash will update here, so please check back from time to time. On behalf of the remaining members thanks to everybody for everything up to this point."

This is a rather sad thing, I must say, but Desired Enemy seem to have broken up due to internal problems. This is all I know as of today, so feel free to leave the community if you want to. I'm still going to leave it up as is and if there is any chance of change, I'll keep you posted. Just leave a comment and I'll get back to you with any news.

Sorry, everyone. I just wish things had gone differently, but that's up to the guys. Thanks for the love and support. It was much appreciated.

Hey DEers,

It's been a while, I know, but there's a ton of new stuff to be posted. First of all, a HUGE amount of thanks goes out to everyone who's been able to make it to the last few shows. The guys have been getting some really positive feedback from all of you and it is always appreciated. A huge thanks to lady_czerach for hooking them up last night at the show in Kingston, MA, regardless of how it turned out. As long as the music reached a few more ears, that's all that really matters, right?

The Gigs page has been updated and make sure you all sign up for e-mail updates or join the DE Street Team.

The last bit of info I've got is extremely important. Make sure all of you in the greater Southeastern Massachusetts area listen to 100.3 WKKB tomorrow (Sunday) night between 9-10pm. They will be debuting one of the songs off the 4-disc EP, so listen up and make sure you all call and leave feedback.

Hey everyone,

There's some new stuff on the DE site. There's new pics from the KC's Tap show as well as a new section where you can sign up to receive updates via e-mail or join the street team. dethchick, sandge, and myself are in charge of that (and so far, the only members), so we could really use all the help we can get. I've been bustin' my ass trying to recruit for both, but I can't do it alone. I need you all to plug DE in as many LJ's/communities/websites as you can. (For LJ, go to "Interests" and search under anything related to the interests of this community.) Just trying to spread the DE love.

The next show is Friday, April 9th at Jarrod's. It's sponsored by WAAF Boston and they will be down there broadcasting live, so make sure you're there. $10 at the door and all the metal you can handle. I've posted the upcoming gigs in my last post or so, but due to circumstances beyond the band's control, the April 11th show is cancelled.

Also, check out Garageband.com. The guys have some of their stuff as well as different versions of some of their songs.
