Frolicon
So Frolicon was a total bust! :( I dont remember if I mentioned it on here b/c I have been slacking hardcore on keeping up with LJ lately. Sorry if I missed anything I probably should have been informed about. Anyways, back to my point. I took 
altxchange suggestion and applied to be in the art show for Frolicon. I was accepted and I spent WAY too much money trying to get some new stuff printed and buying a few more frames. I had received my tax refund from GA and I was planning on using that money towards a new tattoo. Since I was broke I had to use it to pay for the prints I had done. Well I brought a bunch of stuff to the art show. Some of it was old stuff I had already framed from previous shows and a few new ones.
Well I went up to the convention yesterday to pick up my stuff and found out I had only sold one piece. :( The guy who was running the art show said it was a really slow year and they didnt sell much of anything. While I understand that the economy is bad and I'm not the only one who didnt really sell anything it's still upsetting I put so much money into it. This isnt the first time I have put a ton of money into an art show and then had no return. Although this is the first time I have actually sold something. I appreciate the suggestion from Melissa to be in the art show. I know she was thinking of me and trying to find another way to promote my stuff and maybe make a little money. I think it will be a very long time before I am in another art show again though. I cant afford to keep doing this. I priced my stuff lower then I would have normally but it wasnt enough. Atleast it was the whole show and not just me, so I dont feel like a complete loser.
I am posting the pics here if anyone is interested. I am offering them for UBER cheap because really I dont have anywhere to put them and I would really just like to see them gone then to try and find somewhere to store them. They can be framed or unframed, whichever you prefer. Also I will pay for shipping so let me know if something perks your interest!
