No more boyfriend

Christopher and I decided that it was just to far from Portland to Bellingham so we ended it. I'm hurt but what can you do? Not the one, not the one.

Apparently there is this nasty coffeehouse that's opened up here since I've been gone. People listen to each other's conversations and then openly make fun of them. And some of it gets posted openly on the internet!

I can't imagine a worse way to lose business than pretend niceness when it's really snarky underneath.

I miss Seattle. I just moved here during the summer and although I went to Western it just feels different. Maybe it's all that nasty Northend development.

Mojitos and Morning Running

Why did I have those two mojitos last night? It seemed like such a great idea until the alarm went off at 6:30 this morning.

I got my morning run in-I love running the trails all over Bellingham-especially in the early morning. I hope all this development of outrageously priced condos doesn't ruin all the great trails and parks we are so lucky to have!

I usually see a squirell, rabbits, or deer! Today I saw a squirell and a lost dog. Poor doggy. I still want a dog, but I can no way afford the type I want (a little dog).

Maybe I'll still go down to the pound and check it out tomorrow-sometimes they get little dogs in.

Tomorrow I'm taking a dance class-it's very outside the norm, and quite tawdry, actually. It's Pole 101! This woman has a dance studio with a bunch of poles and she teaches you how to do tricks on it. I would never be a stripper but I hear these classes are great for upper body strength.

Sore muscles

I'm only a white belt but my muscles are sooo sore! Maybe that's why...still have to go for a 1/2 hour run today.

Just can't seem to concentrate on work as a legal assistant.
