[Blue lets Flynn finish composing his message undisturbed, simply lingering near the open door until he can feel that mental exhale as send is hit. a few seconds pass and he lets himself step into view, hand holding onto the door frame as he stands there. he won't enter uninvited, but he won't leave unless he's dismissed, either. it falls on Flynn and his crowded company of feelings he doubtless wants to put to bed.]

[ It took most of Flynn's morning to compose that message. Well, really, some of last night and most of this morning, and now he's sort of just sitting on one of the wooden chairs in the kitchen, staring down at the little screen with his brows knit together.

It takes him a moment to even realize Blue is there, so lost is he in thoughts of what happens next and what they're going to do about the man who killed him, and how to stop it from happening to anyone else. Bad enough to happen to Flynn. Much worse to happen to others.

But after a moment, sensing—something—Flynn looks up, lets out a startled noise like a spooked cat, and then relaxes into something like a smile when he realizes it's Blue. ]

Ah, sorry. It's clean, you don't have to wait. The floor should be dry by now.

[ Flynn was mopping just before finally sending this, after all, wanted to get his body moving so his mind would stop racing. The flagstones in the ktichen are glistening. ]

As impossible as it still seems to me, it appears that you and the others were correct.

Even so, I can't recommend dying. Permanent or not, nothing about that was easy.

Yuri told me you helped him build a stable for Daisy. Thank you. For taking care of him. Far too often it's something he won't do on his own. It's good to know that he has people here to look out for him should anything like this happen again.

It's alright, really. Please don't worry about me. The first 24 hours were admittedly strange, but I'm alright.

How are you feeling? Not to pry, as I know from experience that death can be disorienting at best. In Deerington, when someone died, they were hit with flu-like symptoms for a week or more.

As of yet, I'm a little shaky and having trouble re-adapting to my body—I began anew as a squid, apparently. Yuri remembers that part more clearly than I do.

Fortunately, no flu symptoms. I heard something about memory loss as well?

It was no trouble at all. Better to find some use and value out of the experience, and the information is sorely needed. Hopefully no one else will die, but should they, their loved ones won't have to go through what Yuri did.

He's alright. Not good, but alright. He is very cold, but that seems to be his new normal.

Just before my death, my left arm was entirely severed; however, it's currently attached and functioning normally. Where there should be a nasty scar is a faint line where the sword hit me, as well as a matching one on my hand.

From what I have been told, death was even more common there, and equally impermanent. It's an alarming idea, and one I'm not happy to have tested firsthand, despite being glad that the same is true here.

It was not a good experience. I wouldn't recommend it.
