[ The network is treated to the sight of a striking grey lynx.

But closer inspection will show that it's not exactly a mundane lynx. Tufts of fur on both sides of its neck move with each breath...almost like it's got gills, or something. If that's not weird enough, a softly-glowing amethyst geode is embedded in its chest.

And then the lynx speaks: ]

Uh. Hey there, everyone. My name's Vyng. And...wow, last month, huh? Woof. Or...should I say: [ A surprisingly dainty meow! ] Either way...talk about Rough. Stuff.

[ Awkward. ]

You're all probably trying to recover from...everything. As you should be! So to everybody who's taking care of themselves: Good job! And to people who're pushing themselves for their friends right now? What you're doing is important, but don't forget to take care of you too.

[ There's a reason for this, honest. ]

I don't have any healing magic. But I've got poultices! And jars full of herbs and teas. And, most importantly...the power of cat purrs and cat cuddles.

Fun fact: Did you know that cat purrs are good for your mind and body? So, if you're stuck in bed with the death flu...or you're still recovering from injuries...or, heck, you're just plain depressed? Drop me a line, and we can totally hang out.

We don't even need to talk, if you'd rather pretend I'm a regular animal. But if you need to, uh, vent. Or cry into somekitty's fur. Or...whatever! I'm not going to judge.

Also, full disclosure: This isn't my original form. But when I was recovering from an illness, I convinced a cat to sleep on my chest by purring at it. And it was... [ The cat's fish gills flare outward with a dreamy sigh. ] Sooooo relaxing.

That's mainly what I want to share with other people. And also, uh, you know... [ He struggles for something else to add, and then: ] ...cats!

[ "Dude, listen to yourself...you've gotta SELL it more," says the guy who's holding Vyng's camera. "Here, watch this."

The camera suddenly swings around to a big, bearded man.

"Vyng is SO CUDDLY...you're gonna lose your goddamned MINDS at how cuddly he is," Tachome says. "And if you don't like big cuddly cats, then FUCK YOU!"

He throws the phone onto the floor....and now everybody's treated to the sight of soot covering the walls and visible parts of the couch.

A weary sigh can be heard from off camera: "...Thanks, buddy."
