Good afternoon. I am Amara, the Tiger of Partali. Or just... Amara. [seeing as no-one knows her or her home planet; seems like there's no hope for finding someone from the same galaxy. hashtag LCW probs.] We really know how to make an entrance, don't we? I'm assuming this Rapture place isn't the same as Deerington a few have mentioned.
[it seems obvious; she's not totally ignorant to what's going on, but-- ah. so many places and she hasn't even seen the main location!]
Like Ordinary-Man said before, I would like to offer assistance to anyone who might need it. From breathing exercises and meditation to dealing with any of those... mmm, rowdy locals. I've heard they have a nasty bullet allergy. [and, of course, killing things is what a vault hunter does best. that, and the popular deerington sleeper method of ignoring all their own personal problems and focusing on other people's. always a classic.] All that aside, it would be nice to get to know people now we're off that damnable ship and only about five per cent less likely to face our immediate ends.
Oh-- and if anyone else is interested in looking into the whole superpower thing, breaking and entering suspicious places is always a lot more fun with company, huh?

( out of everything she said, that's what catches amos' attention. )
You really want to sit and chant in a place like this?
audio, UN: tiger
[she laughs, but not unkindly.]
You'd be surprised what people turn to in times of high stress. [her own meditation helps with her powers, but that's neither here nor there.] Thought I'd put it on the metaphorical table-- spending too much spare time consumed with self-pity only gets you so far.

Oh, Hey Amara!
I'm glad you're doing okay over there. Sorry for the rough landing. I'm guessing you finally found yourself a gun?
Re: Video
[the less said about that mess the better.]
Yeaaa-aah. Doesn't work too well, not a lot of bullets, but it's something. Needs must, right?

How'd you get the Tiger name?
audio, UN: tiger
[she's not so desperate for them just yet. she still has the melee option, after all.]
My home planet was overrun with gangs and criminals. I dedicated my life to eradicating them all when my Siren powers manifested. The Tiger of Partali is the name I was given-- a tiger has to hunt, and I always catch my prey.

Good to hear that you made it off that hellish ship in one piece.
I've found that since we've come here, there seems to be a lot more guns around than any reasonable city might have. Like, have you seen those bullet vending machines? It's like whoever built this place fully intended on the locals going absolutely wild.
...At least it's better for us, I guess.
audio, UN: tiger
[her tone is warm, but it quickly gives way to a brief snort of laughter.]
What does it say about me that bullet vending machines are entirely normal for me, huh? I was starting to miss all the jingles. [she puts on a very bad russian accent, evidently an imitation of the vending machines back home:] Ay, ask about our one click buying plan! Your trigger goes click and it's time-to-buy!
There goes all my homesickness.

[ That's what stands out the most to Ange about the message. She's spoken to some people who did seem to know what was going on here - unlike some of the people on the boat - but they all acted as if there was more to it than just that boat. ]
People keep talking about it, but all I've seen before this place was that ship.
Re: voice;
[you can't call rapture land, can you?]
Seems like we popped up at the same time, then. I have about as much idea as to what Deerington will be like as you do.

If you have a lead on where to get more bullets, I'm all ears. I have like ten cases of ammo for my gun, but they're all back in Creepsville.
audio, UN: tiger
Right now, my lead is mostly based around the logic that there are weapons here and they can't possibly have fired every bullet. This is a finite area.

[ might explain why she's been feeling a little off lately; she doesn't have much in the way of actual powers, but she's always been able to tap into extra reserves of energy when she's off her game, sometimes have enough strength to kick a revenant clear across a room, and heal slightly faster than normal speed.
so she's definitely fishing for more answers, to see if she's the only one affected by this or if it's more widespread. ]
audio, UN: tiger
[about five million better ways! she hasn't had to worry about her own press for a while, okay.]
Mine haven't worked for a while. Not sure exactly when I stopped being able to use 'em-- I didn't spend the first few days off the ship very conscious.
