Is this a darkfest? Do I have to make Snape evil?
No, this is not a darkfest. There is no requirement to create darkfic/art or to characterise Snape as evil, deranged, &etc.
May I write evil or black-dark Snape? Or are you mostly looking for grey?
The fest is open to all interpretations of Snape's character as a bastard—spanning the range of the blacks and greys to the very-off-whites. So yes, you may write him as dark or light as you wish, provided that you bring his deeply unpleasant side to the fore.
Are happy endings allowed?
Yes.
Is this a post-DH fest?
No. Your prompts/entries may be set at any time, so long as bastard!Snape remains the focus.
Are art-only entries allowed?
Oh yes!
Do I have to cross-post my discussion posts to DW and LJ?
No, not unless you wish to.
