I'm a new Firefox user as of yesterday afternoon and I love Deepest Sender so far.
My problem basically is that I can't make it open. Cmd+\ does nothing, picking it out of the Window or Tools menu does nothing. The toolbar button does nothing. If I go to View>Sidebar>Deepest Sender, it opens fine there. I checked the 'Open Deepest Sender in sidebar for toolbar button' option, and the button still doesn't open the sidebar.
I'm stumped. The whole reason I wanted an LJ post plugin was so I could just hit a button or key and go; having to go through the menus kind of defeats the purpose for me.
I just updated my weblog to Wordpress 2.0.5, which was released two days ago.
Deepest Sender doesn't work anymore, just with LiveJournal. If I login to my Wordpress, I get the usual screen, but it doesn;t do anything. The category select box in the right top corner is small and empty. The main post field doesn't do anything, clicking in it and typing does nothing.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

Just tried again with the Error Console open, I got this error:
typeerror:node has no properties is a major problem in getting this thing to work. I haven't found documentation that doesn't require the hassle of going through my provider for permissions gymnastics to get this to work. any advice?
ps just getting this post to go live has been a half hour of my life dealing with livejournals insane maze of accounts, friends, password verification, and email crapola, sheeessh does support for this have to be on such a user-unfriendly platform?
Hi all! I'm having trouble getting the "Current Mood" feature of LJ to work with DS.
I'm using the latest version of Firefox (1.5.0.4), the latest version of DS (0.7.7), and I'm running Mac OS X 10.4. When I compose a post in Deepest Sender and submit it to Livejournal, no mood icon shows up on my post even if I've chosen one in DS. This happens both when writing new posts and editing old ones. I end up having to find my entry on LJ, click the "Edit Entry" button, and choose a mood using their interface. The mood feature wasn't working for me with 0.7.6, either.
I don't know if this is related, but here's another bug I've found: when clicking on either the "Normal" or "Preview" tabs above the main entry window, whatever mood I've chosen is erased. The cursor is placed inside the mood selection box as soon as I switch views, as if I'm trying to enter a custom mood. And as soon as I click somewhere else, the box goes back to saying "Current Mood" instead of whatever was there before. I'm constantly switching back and forth between Normal and Source views when I compose posts, and if I choose a mood before I finish writing, I keep having to go back and re-select it every time. (Of course, it doesn't much matter if DS ignores it anyway.) The other options - security setting, icon, tags, current music - are all working fine AFAIK.
Would anyone be able to shed some light on this? Thanks so much.
