I'M A HERO!

1) In September, I fell at work, landed on my wrist, and found out mid-October that I had actually fractured it, so I need to wear a brace until the 12th of November, and hopefully it's healed then (though to be honest, I'm kind of doubting it).

2) I became full-time at work, so I'm getting a minimum of 32 hours a week, as well as health insurance. It's a LOT more expensive than my old health insurance, but it's worth it, especially considering how many doctors appointments I've had lately (OBGYN, PCP, Nutritionist, etc).

3) My sister got married! Well, they got married but they didn't have the ceremony/reception yet. They're planning to have it either in February 2014 or 2015, I'm not sure yet.

4) I figured out how to fix my laptop! All I needed was a new charger, lol. I had my dad take me to Best Buy because Comcast was coming like two days later to install internet.

5) I'M MOVING! Again, yes, lol. But this time I can NOT let this offer go by. My mom and I recently got back in touch, after not really speaking for YEARS and we got a lot of our issues out in the open, and worked through them, which was nice. And somehow we got onto the subject of school annnnnd she and my stepdad are going to pay for me to go out to Hawaii to live with them AND they'll pay for school AND buy me a car when I get out there.

At the cocktail party on Saturday my whole table signed a birthday card for Brock, because his birthday is August 17th. Traci and Matt signed it too. So we gave it to Brock and he laughed and said it was awesome and thank you and I was like KASJDASNKDHAS YAY HE LIKED IT AWESOME.

APPARENTLY HE REALLY LIKED IT BECAUSE A FRIEND OF MINE MENTIONED IT TO HIM ON SUNDAY WHEN SHE WAS GETTING HER AUTOGRAPH AND HE WAS LIKE YEAH I LOVED IT, I WAS READING IT AGAIN THIS MORNING AND

OH MY GOD

And here's why:

I was up getting my poster signed and we had a few seconds to chat, and I was like “I think part of the reason Sam is my favorite character is because we share a birthday.” And he looks up and goes “May…3rd?” So I gave him this look like “Pfft no.” So he says “May…5th?” I laughed and told him it was May 2nd and he goes “Right right. [Part of conversation I can’t repeat because it’ll probably find it’s way into fic].” Then as I was walking away he sort of yells “I WON’T FORGET NEXT TIME, I PROMISE!!”

Then, I went over to get a photo signed by Misha, and (because he is from Massachusetts) I told him that I was born in Winchester, MA, and that my birthday is May 2nd. He stopped writing, looks up at me and says “Seriously?” I nodded. “That’s creepy. …really creepy.”

I will have a whole summary of my weekend tomorrow, when I am not running on 14 hours sleep in 3 days.

My dad booked my hotel room for the convention in August! Well, it's technically on hold, because we don't have to pay until I actually check in but KSLFSDLKJGVDFH THE ROOM IS RESERVED AND EVERYTHING AND OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS IS ACTUALLY LEGIT HAPPENING AND I AM ABOUT FUCKING CRY FROM HAPPINESS.

I OWE MY DAD THE BIGGEST FUCKING CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!
