GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Here at Carlsbury, students are required to fulfill a certain amount of credits before graduation. HISTORY OF CARLSBURY

University founder William Carlsbuy III was born in Memphis, Tennessee and lived there most of his life. It wasn't until he married and tried to settle down that he moved and, eventually, he ended up in the city of New York in lovely Manhattan.

William had always been an educated man, stern and serious in his endeavors, and the very idea that such a historical city was without enough institutions for its youth to learn was heartbreaking. It wasn't until he died in 1940, though, that things even began to move forward.

ABOUT DSU

Carlsbury University was named after it's founder, and was built with his principles and beliefs in mind. In his will he left all of his wealth, personal assets, and a note that requested a university be built in his name to teach youth about the world and how to further themselves. Two years later Carlsbury University was erected and has stood ever since. Its school colors, navy and red, were chosen as an alternative version of its state colors - blue and orange. Carlsbury's mascot is a cougar which is a strange sort of nod to its founder as well, who held a fondness for the wilderness. It's located smack dab in the middle of the upper west side; the city itself is a tourist trap and attracts many, many visitors year round.
