Okay.

I'm working on getting an install of Windows XP running in kiosk mode for DDRoEMiX (I understand the security issues in XP better than Linux) but I need either a second machine to get this all set up on. This means anyone and everyone who wants to be involved in this project needs to get together and have a meeting.

Alternatively, I can just dualboot two installs of XP. This will take longer for me to get to because I have downloads that are a higher priority than installing another copy of windows. Also I've never tried to dualboot two copies of xp so i'm not sure how well this will even work.

Here's what I'm laying out right now (and need to run by Chardish because as of this post I'm still treating this like it's my project and I don't like that so I will link him to here):

• get Windows XP running in kiosk mode (just need a machine to install on, hopefully the production machine)
  
• bootimg changed to something that isn't HELLO WINDOWS XP LOGO
  
• work on the song list some more
  
• padspadspads
  
• build a cabinet of some kind to throw this all in (preferably with locks just for extra security or whatever
  
• testloc~! :D
  

Doing a few final runthroughs on this DDRoEMiX crap thing. Then I'm going to work on building these pads. Anyone want to help with that? :/

Uhhh.. you know, I don't really know what to do with this anymore. I mean we have this lj community, the forum, the kare, the futa and a few other things for communication.

I mean it's not like this is even being used for anything. If it was used for feeding the news page that might be cool but I already have something alot better than this for that. This really doesn't serve a purpose.

So why am I ranting about this? I don't know. I can either go to sleep or play Earthbound some more and not sleep before work. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

The server is down right now for unknown reasons. Please be patient while it's looked into.

With the help of vxjasonxv, meilk.com has been scripted. The only thing is, about half way through the process the server died. sherl0k is going to take care of it I think?

In DDRoE.com news, I need to get the oekaki integrated better.. uhhh maybe something else.

Seriously guys if you're interested in doing anything useful that would be cool. Otherwise I'm going to ban you all.

Right now I need someone that knows php. Alot of knowledge would be helpful, but some (and willing to learn more) would be great.

Anyone with ideas on pretty much ANYTHING would be helpful, just to give me ideas for what kind of directions to take various things in.

I still need those people to carry stuff to my car and build me a Gundam. That position's still open.


No one needs to do this, but if you would, that would be helpful.
