For anyone who tried to join yesterday and couldn't because they're under 18, the problem is fixed now. The setting is now at 14+ so if you're under 14 and want to participate please message the mods and let us know so we can fix it!

Welcome to dcficchallenge. Every week a variety of challenges will be given out in different categories. You can choose any challenge, or more than one! After the due date, we'll take a poll of members and declare a winner for each challenge. Winners get banners! Yay!

rules.
1. Please be respectful of mods and members. Constructive criticism is always good, hating isn't. If you don't like a fic/pairing/whatever, keep it to yourself, please. If you have a major issue with someone or something you say on the site, messages the mods and we'd be happy to help.


2. You can answer as many of the current challenges as you want, but please only ONE entry per prompt for each author!


3. We're open to any kind of fic you want to write. Any length, any pairing, any rating, but please, please note it at the beginning of your fic. Before every fic, please put:

If you post a rated M fic or a fic with violence/character death/whatever and there isn't a warning for it, we'll be mad. Thanks. Seriously, there are some things we just don't want to read about and I'm sure everyone else is just the same way, so just... warn first.



4. Challenges will be issued on Friday mornings. You have until the new challenges are posted the following Friday to post your fic. When the new challenges go up, there will also be a poll with all the categories and fics listed. Voting will remain open until Sunday night and winners will be announced Monday morning. There will be a first, second and third place winner unless there's a really small number of entries, then it might vary.
