A Big Hello and "Fake That"

Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Sara (theladysara) and I am the new owner of this David Walliams Livejournal community, firstly a big thank you to siriuslysmitten who has done a great job!

David Walliams was part of a Take That spoof today on Comic Relief, along with some other comedians with their "band", Fake That. Here is their music video and some images:

Rumours are flying! The 11th Dr. Who is up for grabs, and there are quite a few people in the running for the spot to follow up David Tennant. David being one of them, recent transactions for British bookies have suddenly increased, moving David's odds up from 33/1 to 8/1. I read in one interview that he "would accept it if were offered." Bad news there is what will happen to LB USA? I guess time will tell.

The Boy in the Dress.

Hello all, I've recently been made the new mod here at davidwalliams and my goal is to get this comm running again. It's been pretty dead, of late, and I think with the success of LB USA, we need to re-up the David worship. To start, I'd like to share the following...

David has written his first children's book, titled The Boy in the Dress, with illustrations by Quentin Blake.

I can't wait to get my hands on this and read it. Hopefully Santa will be good to me.

NEW MOD NEEDED?

Hi

I created this community a long time ago, but since then my interest in David has flagged a bit. I still love LB and admire David a lot, but my love for him died a quiet death over the past year or so. So since this community is kind of quiet and I'm rubbish at looking after it I was wondering if anyone wanted to take over and maybe give it a shake up?
