My name is Wedad Shadi, I am 15 years old, and I live in Gaza, Palestine.🇵🇸

Our home was completely destroyed, and now we live in a torn, fragile tent. We are a family of 7, and my mother, father, and my little sister Mira were injured when our house was bombed.

My mother and Mira are in urgent need of medical treatment, but we have nothing to pay for their care, not even food to survive.

My mother and my sister were injured during the war. I am terrified of losing them… please, don’t leave me without my mother and sister. They need urgent help to survive.

They desperately need medicine and medical treatment, as shown in the videos. Every moment without help is a struggle for their lives.

Please, I beg you… save them, help us, and give them a chance to live. 🙏💔

I have started school, but I could not register because I cannot afford the fees.

My friend Mohammed, his daughter Mona, and their whole family are currently trying to escape Gaza as the opportunity to do so presents itself again.

As time goes on and people continue to doubt the legitimacy of Gazan fundraisers, I must reaffirm that I know Mohammed personally, and have been in close communication with him for over a year. My name is Aboud, I'm a 23-year-old from Gaza 🇵🇸💔

I was born and raised under siege. I learned to fight for life, not with weapons, but with patience, hard work, and dignity.

Before the war, I worked hard to support my family. Life was difficult, but I had dreams. I believed in building a future, despite the hardships. But everything changed when the war broke out.

Our home was destroyed.

My loved ones—my family and friends—were captured, either buried under the rubble or killed in airstrikes.

I witnessed death, loss, and destruction that no human being should have to endure.

I, Aboud, stayed in northern Gaza as long as I could, enduring hunger, fear, and the constant bombardment. But in the end, I had no choice but to flee south with my family. We lived in tents, displaced time and time again, carrying nothing but our pain and our hope of one day returning.

When the ceasefire was announced, we thought we finally had a chance to start over. We returned to our neighborhood, only to discover it had been declared part of the expanded "yellow zone." The entire area was razed to the ground. Our dreams were shattered for the second time.

Now, we are displaced again. We live in a tent, with no shelter, no food, and no income. We have nothing left.

I launched this fundraising campaign late, not because our suffering has just begun, but because I tried for so long to cling to hope and face this situation without asking for help. But now, I have no choice.

I, Aboud, humbly ask for your help.

I never imagined waking up to endless screams,

Running barefoot through smoke and fire,

Searching for my mother among the rubble,

Only to find nothing but silence… a heavy silence telling me that no one will answer me anymore. 💔

In one moment, everything changed.

Our home became a memory, my mother’s embrace became the past,

And my father's face, now absent, is the last thing I hold in my memory.

They’re gone… and left my heart burdened with unspoken grief. 😢

But despite everything, we are still here… trying.

I survived with my younger siblings.

Yes, we survived… but who are we after survival?

Children without warmth, without a roof, with no place to return to.

We were displaced to an unknown place, carrying a bag empty of everything… except pain. 🥀

We slept in the open, waking every morning to a life that holds nothing for us,

But despite everything… we keep trying. 💪

I write to you today not to cry, but to ask for hope. 🌱
