Out of Character discussion for Dark City RP

Sooo, the community has gone very quiet, and I have this fear that it's partly my fault. I've had a lot of RL stuff going on, most of it stressful. There were also some trips this summer, but I'm worried that my stuff kind of dragged everyone else in the household off RP, and that knocked out half the city characters right there... and yeah. So I'm apologizing.

This is too good a community and too great a bunch of people to have it just die out. If you guys have mostly moved on to other characters, I understand. I just started playing a new character myself, when all the old ones are sitting neglected. But! I'd like to try to kick some life back into this place. We've had good times here. Maybe we need another good plot or something, but in lieu of that for now, I suggested resurrecting the whole fall festival thing in the community, so there'll be a post, wide open. Anyone who wants to try to get their feet wet again, jump on in!

It appears that our kidnapping plot has stalled out. I'm sure we all have/had a lot going on, but it'd be nice to continue and hopefully wrap things up so that our characters are no longer tied up -- some of them literally. :)

I think we're at a point in the thread that we can either start a new thread or a new post for the actually decent onto Duela's hideout and rescue. The planning can be hand-waved -- our intrepid heroes probably need a strategy, but we can discuss that here.

Also, it might be helpful if we pick a specific day/time that we all can be around to wrap things up faster. As far as the near future goes, I am available in the evenings, pretty much every night (Just not too late, as I am getting up early in the AM most days and need my beauty sleep.

Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

Halloween already?
Well it will be in the Dark City, as I will be posting Harley's Halloween Costume Party thread this week. Mostly likely on Thursday, Oct. 15th. Of course, Time Has No Meaning YAH! And all are welcome to come enjoy the festivities. Costumes are encouraged and might end up being LOL'd. Other plot bunnies are welcomed.

In other discussion, I am hoping to put together a Halloween-themed post. Was thinking about starting early, mid-October, since many of you are involved in the Novemeber prompt contest. Harley just may host a costume party. Thoughts, opinions, evil plot suggestions? Place them here.

I'm Kay, and I've threaded on the Dark City comm…Maybe all of one time. :D;; I've done a fair amount of threading with sarah_branigan, though. I got introduced to the movie through the Dark City players at Dear_Multiverse, and it turns out that I think it's an AWESOME film.

Awesome enough to warrant a summer plot. Which is what I'm posting here for. I ran the idea past Sarah-mun, and she wisely suggested that I come talk about here, to get some input. (And it only took me about a month to write this up after hearing that! Progress!)

Hello, sorry I dropped off the face of the Earth...Real Life kicked my lily-white butt the past couple of months with a vengeance. I'm having my first weekend off from work and school in nearly 3 months, and it feels...odd.
Provided I haven't totally burned every bridge, I'd like to get back into the swing of things. I posted the last "backstory" bit onto Pilar's LJ account, so she has officially exited the institution to begin an exciting life of...well, probably wandering around in a daze wondering what the Hell's been going on since she went "inside", lol.

So after much thought - I have decided to give April her own livejournal. And I am hoping to bring her back to Dark City for interaction with other players.

And yes, April did have her own livejournal before - as an adult. But this time, it will be based from the prospective of the child that April is, and the problems she has at school, or just growing into her powers.

Thought I would let you all know. As I submitted requests to join as that livejournal name. (Which by the way is histruepet)

I've gotten Sarah involved in a Nexus LOL. This one replaces a person with a version of themselves from another point on their timeline. I am planning to turn Sarah into a little kid -- as soon as I can find good kiddie pictures. Then I'll post to the Nexus.

I know some of you guys are busy, so no worries if you can't tag. I won't be posting until Monday evening the earliest. I plan to keep this LOL light-hearted and fun.

Also, I was thinking of having once_a_boy ask a question in the Nexus, probably while Sarah is still LOLed so I won't feel compelled to self-thread.

So in April I will be gone from my computer for a week or so, due to some dental surgery. I know -- Sad.

And the evilness that is me has decided that due to this, I just have to do some drama'esq subplot for Harley between now and then. Some of the ideas would only affect her. There are others that would include other Dark City players, if they are so inclined to join the fun. And I am sure there is one evil 'Dark City becomes Gotham' idea in there too.

Guess I wanted thoughts. Opinions. Thinks you should dos... That sort of thing.
