who was talking about this movie recently?

anyway, we dropped the kids off with norma's mom yesterday and when we got back to gallatin norma wanted to go to a mom's night out coupon swap. i was home alone with 4 hampers of clean laundry to put away. so i trolled netflix for something norma would never watch with me.

i narrowed it down to the man with the screaming brain, jack brooks: monster slayer, and dead & breakfast.

i went with the last one, although i couldn't really tell you why.

actually, it was probably because david carradine has a bit part as the owner/operator of the bed and breakfast where all the shit goes down. then he dies and eventually gets dug up.




it has musical elements, but they manage to be just the right balance of camp and exposition so it wasn't so annoying. plenty of wtf, but not annoying.




so yeah, if you want to see the movie after seeing those clips, it's probably something you'd enjoy.

if you've never watched lexx, you should start.

cool stuff coming to atlanta. cinematic titanic, vnv nation, etc. but the last time we drove to atl for a show we were reminded that we're not so young anymore.

turns out the eps weren't pulled. they're just doing some house cleaning so there's a new URL, the episodes have been retitled, and now there are section headings with the season number (which used to be part of the title). overall better presentation.

fiona's got a ct scan today to check if the bones in her ears harbor infection. she'll probably need a spock fix to recover from the trauma.
