Clearly this is VERY out of date but I can't be bothered to update it. (don't really care)

Always looking for new friends. - Add me then drop me a line. :)

About me...

I am 39 now older, still a student of belly dance - and I've been teaching bellydance classes for the last two 3-4, several years. I'm surprised at how much I enjoy teaching!

I still take lessons and attend as many workshops as I can afford, 2-3 a year...not very many but then again, I don't really like travelling/staying in hotels, away from home and my much loved dogs..

I prefer a casual approach in classes that involves learning new moves, a good workout and improvisation rather than learning a structured choreographed routine - I like to interpret music for myself - a piece of music speaks to me differently every time I hear it. I get a little bored with the everyone doing the same thing stuff.

I'm learning how to choreograph (because my students want it.) I'm an established choreographer now - but I don't love it. It is still difficult for me to do the SAME thing over and over without changing it a little bit every time.

I'm childfree and have gone back to university part time I've almost completed my honours B.A. in history, only 3 courses to go. Not sure what I plan to do with it after that. I may add a minor in Classics.

I have a daytime, part time job. It supplements the dance income. I teach dance classes as many nights a week as I can get students for and am always struggling to maintain full sessions. I'd love to get those last few classes to finish the honours degree but between juggling teaching and dance gigs, work and a private life... we'll just see how it goes.

Dance is my true love and I'd love to devote all my time to it but just not possible at the moment.
