This fic was inspired by a little chat between deadsies and I discussing how the bond between the Master and Lucy is deeper then the physical and how she will always be there for him if he needs her. Let's face it, we get a lot of batshit crazy moments between these two, and I don't really think it's fair to neglect how much they love one another no matter what roads their lives take them on. Oh... yeah... another tardis_caps inspired fic. This takes place in the future where Lucy is living with 10.5 and Mickey and becoming more comfortable and friendly with Nine.

I wrote this fic in response to some heart wrenching plot over at tardis_caps in which the Master tells Lucy that he cheated on her with Ten and she breaks it off with him. This fic takes place a couple days after she asks Nine if she can stay for awhile in his Tardis because she can't live in her and the Master's once shared flat because that crazy bitch turned it down.
