I realize not everyone may know this trick, so sharing now!
If you've gotten to a point in ESO where you finally have more transmutes than you know what to do with, there's a way to put them into storage so you can exceed the cap.
By reconstructing an item from a set you have fully collected, you can convert 25 transmutes into one inventory slot consuming item that can easily be stored in your bank, in-house coffers, or on an alt that rarely gets played. And then should there come a time when you need those transmutes again, you can deconstruct it and get all 25 transmutes back!
My preferred strategy is to specially use an item that have no sense existing (war machine restoration staff), to do it in nirnhoned for the chance to nirncrux out of it (reconning does not use the trait material), and always do the exact same item so you can see how many of them you have. And do NOT make a mythical item - they do not give transmutes back. It has to be a set item.
This tech lets me have over 3000 (129*25=3225) transmutes solely in storage in case u35 happens again I am asked last second to make a set I don't have already made. Have fun with this!
Hmmmm. Do questing I’ve been putting off for weeks and finally have free time to do, or rewrite my old advice posts for the 50th time… Decisions
