OOH WONDERFUL REQUEST okay forewarning my little phone camera stinks and its nighttime but i was excited so here is my current ecosystem!!
ALTthese are my big 3! technically only two see frequent use but im counting them all. i’ve got a journal, drawing book, and dnd notebook. all 3 are a6 size and use natsumehandmade covers because i don’t have hobonichi money (and honestly i like these ones wayy better material wise ^_^) i’m always swapping out the books inside as i fill them since i don’t wanna buy a new cover everytime.
i don’t do much planning on paper besides basic to-do lists and convention notes (unless you count the dnd stuff), everything else digital 🙂↕️ but when i used to teach ceramics i had a weekly planner that i’d do lesson plans in and i really enjoyed that!
this is getting long so i’ll put it all under a readmore!
was worried i was drawing gerson a little too sexy with it but he literally has sprites where his butt is stickin out his leotard a little

i saw hobonichi techos in a store irl for the first time yesterday and oooooooooh boy was it tempting, if i didn't have the luggage space or the money i would have snapped one up.... i have an empty mother 2 one from like 2017 or so cover that i got used for like less than $15 usd but i still haven't gotten an actual journal.... i did get the plastic muji compact fountain pen that im excited to try, when i get home!! and some muji notebooks to see how i like them.

I'm into crochet right now especially making smol pouches with zippers and you have no idea how obsessed i am with zipper length and pouch openings for optimal grabbies and giving them out to friends.
And because of this I need more yarn i need to try different zippers and maybe what if I want to make a WRIST STRAP I need D-rings and clips and~
i love that!!! the curved opening looks so good and the one where you put the opening perpendicular to the bottom so it sits on it flat is so cuute. optimal grabbies is such a noble pursuit i hope u are having so much fun !!!
The curved opening is DEFINITELY my favorite so now my goal is to try to put in a train pass pocket on either the inside or the outside. And maybe a loop at the closed end of the zipper as an attachment point.

I can't wait to see your pens! You should come to Japan sometime and just go into a stationery store they have so many sample pens and inks as testers it's amazing.

People -and therefore characters- can have self-esteem issues while also being convinced they are the GOAT, and I think not aknowledging that often gets in the way of character analysis.
"pretending to be confident, but deep-down actually insecure" is definitely a character type that exists, but "genuinely confident but there are a few things she doesn’t trust herself with," or "genuinely hyperconfident in her abilities but entirely unsure of her worth beyond that," or "genuinely hyperconfident in herself but if you push these 3 mental pressure points in a specific pattern she will be a sobbing mess on the floor" are characters who exists as well. And they're all beautiful.
