Hey guys I know it seems like I'm begging for the same things and I have to admit this past month I've been more compulsive and selfish with money 😔 I wasn't doing well mentally while chasing the job and school and I really tried to make sure I had food and to do things that made me happy.

Unfortunately this is the most broke and fucked I've been in a while and going into school this broke and behind may be typical, but it's scary because I was on top of things more or less for like 7 months.

If I don't raise around 350 in the next week, all of my electronics are functionally useless for online work and school. I'm really panicking and I don't know what to do. Donations are slow...

Setting a goal for 350. I have a week to raise it before they shut off my power.

My fiance and I are losing our housing at the end of the month, I have an oncology appointment tomorrow, and I have a surgery consult on the 21st. We are applying for aid, but getting housed, and getting surgery are massive concerns. Essentially, we are in a very precarious situation where we need a lot of help quickly to stay housed and as healthy as possible.

im v influenced by naive art, stuff made by ppl w no training, ppl who recognize the conventions of art but might not fully understand them. (as opposed tto outsider art which is made by ppl isolated entirely from art traditions and is a v loaded and often misused term)

its a side of furry i v much enjoy (furry is a folk art movement w a v strong naive contingent) , tho i feel like i have to be careful not to be a tourist abt it cause im like. one foot in furry and one foot in the quote unquote 'fine art' world (i wish there was a better term for the cultural tradition of european and usamerican art but all the others are worse - 'highbrow' has roots in phrenology)

apparently imitating the look of untrained artists is called "primitivism". all the terms for this are bad and i hate how hard it is to talk abt in a non judgemental way
