Since we're on Yakitate, I'd like to say this: I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS MANGA ENOUGH. It's ABOUT BREAD, and I almost DIED laughing more-times-than-I-wanna-count reading this series. I repeat, this manga is about BREADMAKING and all those breadmaking competitions and Azuma's, the main charac, dream of making Japan (a bread that will DEFINE bread in Japan. Yep. It's a pun. XD). Oh, and must not forget the extremely overdone, exaggerated REACTIONS to the bread the people have after eating. XDDD Some of them are even PLANNED. I mean, you'd think that Cooking Master Boy's ridiculous. This takes the cake AND THE ICING ON TOP. You know it was overexaggerated to make it overexaggerated and not just for the 'woah. incredible bread' effect. It's more to aiming for "omg, wtf, *LAUGHTILLYOUDIE*" effect.

and they spoofed CONAN. DETECTIVE CONAN WAS USED AS ONE OF THE REACTION DEVICES! Tell me if that's not crack enough. A bread actually turned back time and CHANGED HISTORY. Dragonball was spoofed, Konjiki no Gash bell had a mention and all sorts of ridiculous parodies happened, and OH THE PUNS!

In short, Yakitate! Japan is a cracktastic manga with such endearing characs that you'd end up liking all the main ppl and hating the people you're supposed to hate and you WILL NOT REGRET DYING BY LAUGHING TOO MUCH. XDD Pierrot~! ♥

HAPPY BELATED BDAY TO YUMI~! AND TO ALL OTHERS DEC BABIES... why? WHY? T___T Is Dec really such a good month to be born in?

The Takaya Revenge Hen is amusing. Seriously. It's still available for dl in the bl drama comm, but well, it's TAKAYA bullying KOUSAKA this time~ XD Poor Kousaka had to blend into the world by being a school student, and has to take part time job as a waiter? (cashier of a fast food joint?) and Takaya saw him one day and remembered the anger at his spoiled part time job because Kousaka was being an obnoxious prat of a customer.

So, he went up, and irritated the hell out of Kousaka using his customer rights~! Mirage of Blaze fans~ YOU MUST NOT MISS THIS! I MEAN, HOW OFTEN DO YOU HEAR/SEE/READ COMEDY IN THIS SERIES?

Excerpt:
