Alpha continues to gain words at a prodigious rate. ("Can you say 'prodigious'?" "Puh-duh?" "Good enough.")

Current word list of spontaneously-stated words:
  • Hello (his current favourite!)
  • Okeydokey (his previous favourite)
  • "cah cah" (cracker; also applies to all food, lol)
  • Baw (ball)
  • No (lol, of course)
  • Pee (both please and peas)
  • Poh (pouch -- baby food)
  • Wawa (water)
  • Knee (includes pointing at it when asked and saying it when pointed to)
  • Coca (coconut; this is his diaper ointment and he may be cuing a need to use the toilet, but this isn't confirmed)
  • Boh/bo bo (book)
  • Ow (ouch/ow/owwie/hurt)
  • Ee (eat)
  • Kee (keys and cheese)

In addition to his previous list:
Mama, Dada, "mih" (for milk), kisses, "mo" (for more), tasty, "ba" (for "badge")

There are others he'll repeat consistently but hasn't said spontaneously yet. And he very clearly understands more than he says.

...

Apparently a normal 14m/o has a spoken vocabulary of three to five words, including "mama" and "dada"? ... Oh, lord. We're in trouble, aren't we?
