So, while we were at The Match Game at Worldcon, the subject of Seattle traffic came up. I agreed with the Bellevue-ite announcer, who said that traffic here is completely crap, and the guy in the row behind us (from Renton, and... Yes, there were a lot of Seattle-metro folks at Worldcon) was like, "No way, it's not bad at all" and I'm like, "It may not have anything on Friday rush hour around the Beltloop in DC, but it's pretty crap, and it doesn't help that no one knows how to drive."
I'd love to email him this article, if I had any idea who the fuck he was.
...
Being in the bottom third ftl!
Of course, DC got 193 out of 193 (gg nation's capital!), and Philadelphia's at 188, but the drivers here are still pretty crap. (And
miang and
kinkyprude? LA's at 182. So I guess you still beat us!)

SEATTLE -- A new report reveals which cities have the worst drivers in America, and Western Washington drivers ranked among the worst.
"America's Best Drivers Report" by Allstate ranked drivers in U.S. cities from one to 193, one being the best and 193 the worst.
Three cities in Western Washington came in toward the bottom. Seattle sits at 147, Bellevue at 145 and Tacoma at 141. According to the report, an average driver in those cities will experience an auto accident every eight years.
The study is based on results of the frequency of auto accidents, which can result in property claim damage.
While Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma ranked low, the worst drivers are in Washington, D.C., where the average driver will get into an auto accident every 4-5 years.
The city that received top honors for having the safest drivers is Fort Collins, Colorado.
