Cynnabar is the Ann Arbor, Michigan based chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism better known as the SCA. The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating pre-17th-century history.
Cynnabar is one of the many baronies in the Pentamere Region of the Middle Kingdom, the third oldest kingdom in the SCA. We are bordered by the Barony of Roaring Wastes, Barony of Northwoods, and the Shire of Talonval. The SCA has been an organization since 1966.
Cynnabar hosts weekly events such as Fight Practice: Heavy, Fencing, and Youth, Dance Practice, and Singing Practice. We also have educational workshops before our Baronial Meetings.
