His boot kicked through the thin terracotta wall allowing shafts of light to pour into a blackness that had remained undisturbed for millennia.
'Lumos.'
The wand's blue luminescence revealed a long hallway. Shadows mingled with pictograms on the walls. Bill squeezed his head and shoulders through the hole.
'What do you see, Weasley?'
'A passage. Looks like the entrance to an Osirion. Wait. I hear something.'
The Professor tried to peer around the obstruction that was Bill's body. 'Probably the wind. Osirions sometime have ventilation shafts. Budge along, boy!'
The void at the end of the wand's illumination yawned and seemed to grow. There was definitely a noise now.
'Professor, step away from the hole." Weasley began to squirm backwards.
'Why?'
'Because, there is something very large coming down the hallway!'

Curse Breakers! is a series of episodic fics written by different authors but using the same universe and characters.
Set in Cairo, Egypt, one year after Bill Weasley has graduated from Hogwarts, the story follows the adventures of the intrepid curse breakers of Gringotts Bank (Venture and Reclamations Dept.) as they search for treasure, try to outsmart the competition and above all else, come home in one piece.
It stars Bill himself, Professor Ceggerson, an American academic and specialist in ancient curses, Anne Strathmore, a witch with a closet full of short skirts, and a host of re-curring characters. The heroes must contend with spies, teams of mercenary treasure hunters, deadly curses, and the occasional Death Eater.
