Meetup in Burlington VT Saturday Oct 3rd

I wanted to let you all know about a meet-up happening in Burlington VT on Saturday October 3rd at 2pm. We will be having a BYOF picnic at the Stones down the bike path from the waterfront. I made a Google map of the location, paths and other applicable things of note.

In case of rain, we will be going to Dobra Tea instead (which is marked on the map by the rain cloud)

Sorry if you get this multiple times, I'm cross-posting it on a few different sites.

If you have any questions or need to contact me to see if we'll be at Dobra or the Stones just give me a call or text (914) 400 3482, my name's Yenni for those of you who don't know me.

If you'd like to discuss this more, most of the planning is taking place here: http://www.bakuretsucon.org/forum/…

Intro / Lolita Meet-Up

(This is also posted on Ct on the frills)

Hi, just want to post up a short intro, seeing that I seem to have come out of nowhere. I haven’t been on LJ in years and my profile seemed to have disappeared o_O (this is a new one) Hi I'm Angelina and I'm a Lolita out of Enfield, Ct I've been in to Lolita since 2002, more info on profile (once resurrected) I don't have any friends in to Lolita, so I decided on finding some, hence stumbling across this community ^o^ So again, Hi everyone!!

I had taken notice of the last post on trying to possibly have a Meet up, I personally have never attended one (sad, I know) then alone hosted one, But I couldn't help but suggest the Connecticut Renaissance Faire( http://www.ctfaire.com ). I don't know if that is Lolita-ish per se, but I think it would be most entertaining to see a flock of cute and adorable girls in frilly dress walking among the renaissance peasant folk. I'm curious to know how everyone feels about this. ^_^

(Not so) New Community

Ok we're going to try this again! We all love this community but lack of maintainer and sad cosplay lolita layout is a small issue. So tp a;; active members please move to ctonthefrills. I know the layout is lacking purdy pictures but I'm not going to put a major effort layout wise unless it starts going. So join darn it!
