Does anybody know if there's a class available to non-music majors for beginner piano players? I'd like to learn how to play but I can't seem to find anything that's aimed at non-music majors & that's beginner.

I'm looking to get into the CTVA-Multimedia production major. I was wondering what this major consisted of. I'm looking to get into the more technical side of media (audio/video editing, website design, some animation, etc.). So, would this be a good fit?

Hi, I know nobody really updates this anymore, but I was just curious if anyone else has signed up for the eRefund (direct deposit) option for financial aid this semester. If so, have you gotten your funds yet? My portal states that my check was to be disbursed on 01/09 and here it's the 11th and I've yet to get the money deposited into my account. I thought the whole idea of direct deposit was that we didn't have to wait for our checks? I know my routing and account numbers are accurate so I'm just curious if maybe the Fin. Aid dept. is just taking their time or if they perhaps have made a mistake... Please let me know if you have any info. Thanks!

For those in the know, what are the Animation courses like?

Hey guys! I'm looking to transfer next spring or fall upper division for linguistics. I'll be commuting, not living on campus. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the program, is it good? Do you like it? I'm having trouble picking a major, but I really enjoy languages and have always taken courses in the area. And just about the school in general, is it nice? Good choice? 

anyone out there with a degree in computer science/computer information systems? what do you do? do you get paid well? is it fun? is it hard to find a job?

anyone get a degree in psych? what are you doing after college? 

does anyone here have a degree in sociology? what are the job prospects like? what do you do as a sociologist?

another question... if i want to go to CSUN and start on upper division courses for sociology for fall 09 and spring 10 semesters.. but want to transfer to another school in fall 10.. can i do this? or should i just continue and finish upper division courses at csun until i get a BS and then transfer to another college? 

what do you guys think?
