Hello and good morning everyone! Time for an update! I just want to say that I appreciate you all following the rules and keeping this community free of fandom wank, especially considering the spoilers that have been floating around concerning the CSI: Vegas finale. Great job, everyone! *pats you all on the back* On to the update, there's only a couple today:

*Something fun for everyone*:

With all three CSI's going into summer reruns soon, we know how boring it can be without new episodes of our favorite shows to look forward to. We here at csiquotes want to help ease your boredom. So, look for weekly/monthly icontests in the near future. Stay tuned for more information on that coming soon.

*Episode Discussions*

We debuted an episode discussion forum during Monday night's CSI: Miami. We didn't get the response we were hoping for, but we're going to try it again. Tonight is a new CSI: New York at 10/9 central on CBS. Hop onto the board and post your thoughts as you watch the episode, and then after it has aired, discuss, share your opinions and tell others what you thought of the episode. We will also have the episode discussion forum available during Thursday night's CSI: Vegas which airs at 10/9 central. We are hoping that this will catch on to the point where we can feature it permanently during the new seasons of CSI next fall.

Hello everyone! No new updates for today, just wanted to pass along some information in regards to posting quotes. In your post please list the name of the CSI show you are posting quotes for, the season, and the name of the episode, as these quotes will be put into community memories for future reference. Please contact myself or one of the other mods if you have questions. Thank you. Also, our co-mod phdelicious will be adding a post for tonight's CSI: Miami. It will air at 10/9 central time tonight. --Episode Discussions: With the finales of CSI: Miami, NY and Vegas coming up in the next couple of weeks, we would like to introduce episode discussions mid-ep and post-ep. Saw a moment that you really liked and want to squee about? Post it while your watching! A quote comes to your mind that you want to share once the show has aired? We encourage healthy discussion and debate.

That's about all that is new for now. There's more to come, so stay tuned for future postings about what's happening with this community.

The mods and I believe that there is already too much cross-posting with fan fiction and would like to streamline submissions to different categories. We haven't gotten all the kinks worked out yet. So, please do not submit stories at this time. There will be a post to the community once we are ready to start accepting stories!

Just wanted to give a quick update on what's coming soon.

-New layout. My co-mods and I are working on getting a new layout for the comm. Look for that soon.

-A form for members to fill out for introductory posts might be in the works. I'll be checking with the mods on that one and hope to have one in place soon.

-We only have a few members now, but it's a great start! Welcome all who have joined!
