[She takes a real, real long time to psych herself up to this. To ask. Because she kind of needs to, but she hates having to ask, but after so many weeks, she really needs to.]
So, say someone grew up like a princess. Servants, cooks, the whole nine yards.
And now they want to learn how to live without all that.
How do they go about that? Just curious.

[She can buy food, but she can't stand messes and she's getting tired of being so haphazard about it. There must be a better way to do it. She hopes there is.]
Is Ishimaru a good teacher?

But you should start small no matter what. Start by doing things that sound simple enough and you will naturally move forward onto larger tasks. There's a lot you can try to do, but the list of things you actually need to do is quite a bit smaller.

But there's a way to brute force something and then there's a proper way to do it which hopefully involves less tiring work.
Things need to be cleaned, at the very least.

Would you be okay with some random girl showing you how things are done?

Do you at least have a roof over your head? Because I can teach you how to survive outdoors if you don't!

You learn by living and doing and trying. Making what you do have work.
I could give you pointers if you want.

....pointers would be good.

No InstaRoyal, no ZapChat. No Gracebook? I'm dying.
[The only thing Evie misses more than her boyfriend and friends? Social media.
You'll want to start small. Baby steps. Something you already know a little about or interests you. A hobby or a favorite subject in school.

If you want to learn how to cook, though, there are plenty of restaurants around Verens owned by Otherworlders. They'd likely be willing to let you watch. Maybe they'd even give you a job. I work with Webby at the Golden Pan as a performer. You could ask her.

[She absolutely would not learn if she didn't absolutely HAVE to.]
Why would a restaurant hire someone who can't cook.
Webby is weirdly helpful.

[ Well, whatever. Either way. ]
I can teach you how to be frugal, but that's about it. Just let Webby do her thing. It's easier than fighting her, believe me.

[And she honestly does better seeing and doing the thing.]
I can buy food, at least.
The biggest thing I'm worried about right now is cleaning. Landry is the biggest issue because what do I DO with the things I cleaned everything ELSE with?

You mean like cleaning rags? What I've always done is rinse them out and soak them in lemon juice, then dry them in the sun, and then wash them like I do regular laundry.

Or, ah, is that the problem? You don't know where to even start?
