Hey everyone! Webby Vanderquack here with some sad news, followed up by good news! Or at least better than sad news. I mean, almost anything is better than sad news.
Okay, first things first - both Scrooge McDucks have... returned home to their worlds. And, in a way? That's good news! For them! Because they get to be home with their friends and real family. So... yeah, still, a major bummer, but, yay for them.
[Brief pause as she hesitates, clearly due to missing them very much - but she shakes her head, trying to stay on target.]
So! That leaves the fate of the Golden Pan up in the air... EXCEPT HERE I AM, TO KEEP IT ON THE GROUND! As their helpful ward and honorary niece...
[She pops up one of their iconic top hats, and places it on her head.]
... I will hereby be taking over! Now, you may be thinking "Webby! You're a small child, and you know nothing about running a business!" Both of these things are correct. I can't help the former, but you can help the latter! For all the current employees of The Golden Pan, it's hands on deck! We'll be working together to keep this mighty saloon working, and I know we can do it! Both of the Scrooges left behind a lot of notes and charts and complicated books, but I happen to be an excellent student, so think of me less as a boss, and more as a community leader! We'll all be our own bosses!
To that end, I also want to expand the Golden Pan's family, so if you're looking for work, this is your chance! Cooking, cleaning, waiting tables, security guards, BUT! I'm also looking to add the most valuable aspect of any good saloon... OLD-TIMEY TALENT SHOWS!
If you've got songs and dances to show off, come hit our stage and entertain for our guests! No act is too good for us!
So don't you worry about the members of the Golden Pan, because we'll run it the way Uncle Scrooge, one and two, would! By being smarter than the smarties, tougher than the toughies, sharper than the sharpies, and by making it square!

You can't live on your own, and neither your grandmother or the Scrooges would want you to. You're welcome to stay with me and the others, if you want?

Huh?! I-uh-no! It's fine, really, everything's fine!

I'm sorry to hear about them, Miss Webby. Will you really be all right?
[He's never met them before, but if they were her family then it can't be easy for her.]

Christ.]
Whatever help you need.

With a deep breath, he decides to reach out with his own pendent. Even trying to mimic her energy with his own nervous smiling.]
Nice to meet you, Ms Webby. I'm Yoshiya... and it's not much, but I know a bit about cooking and cleaning? I can play piano too, but... Really, I'd just like to offer any sort of help. The 'Golden Pan' sounds important.

I think it's great that you're willing to try! You can do anything when you set your mind to it! Although, what makes a talent old-timey...?

[There's a pause, and she swallows the lump in her throat. She feels... well hurt. Maybe even a little betrayed, even though neither Scrooge had any control over being sent back home.
He offered her family. She thought...
Kiara shakes her head, her face taking on a more serious expression.]
Are you okay, Webby? I can figure out a way to help you with the Golden Pan.

[she is, in no way, okay. let's be clear about this. but she has learned to BOTTLE THAT UP-]
This is what they'd want me to do!

[aw, crap. Killua's been so distracted with his personal life, post-fog—the event itself was harrowing, then it was his birthday, then he got into a several awkward personal situations and conflicts... but he totally meant to hit Webby up, and here she is. with bad news, no less! of course, it sounds like she's got it, but...]
Crap, your relatives, right?
Hey, it sounds like you're about to get really busy, but would you be free sometime soon? I wanna thank you properly for during that weird fog stuff...
[and it could be a pick-me-up, from...the bad half of her news, maybe.]

I can totally clear up my schedule! All work and no play makes Webby a dull duck!

[By now he's heard that people might and will eventually disappear, it's just how it is. Two of them though? That part is a bit confusing.
But... He can try offer help, at least.]
I would be able to work as either a security guard or a cleaner. My preference would be the first. I have military training and I've had my fair share of protecting.
no subject
So does that make you an elite soldier in your world?

Sorry for your loss... However, you may reach me whenever you need help.
[He won't leave the place just because the boss is gone. Besides, this saloon is his first proper job, so there's some... attachment to it.]
I work in security and kitchen. The former is official than the latter, but I'll lend a hand in whatever else you need.

You work with whatever you wanna work with! Job performance increases the happier you are!

Well...if you need tips on running a business, I ended up running one after someone left this place too. Not a family member, mind you.

Just be careful who you sign up, kid. Wouldn't want to be taken advantage of.

Not to worry, I'm capable of seeing the bad seeds. I know I don't look like, but I'm quite the capable combat master.

One of her oldest and dearest friends going home is problem enough, but this post is dragging up all kinds of memories.]
I'll help out in any way I can but...are you sure you don't wanna take some time to think everything over? Maybe somebody'd be interested in buying the Gold Pan to run themselves?
[Far be it from her to discourage Webby from running a business if that's really what she wants to do, but she doesn't want Webby feeling obligated to step into shoes that aren't her responsibility to fill. It was bad enough watching Ben scramble to fill them. And grief can make a person want to take on more than they're prepared to handle.]
No way, I'm not handing over the Pan to anyone! I'd never let something that belonged to the Scrooges fall into anyone else's hands!
