🏹 ( misfired video post. )
[It's most unusual to see this man on the network--a shut-in on the best of days, a man who gave the air as being dignified, and perhaps shy--the last time he'd been here, it was during a great catastrophe where he accidentally broadcast his thoughts to the network while having... a mishap with a certain overdose of coffee.
While that appearance of the man had been funny, if not a little sad to watch--this time, it's wildly different.
A man who usually had an air of self-assurance, an attitude belonging too a Prince and a proud warrior; this time, his expression is twisted into something angry. Dark, and unsettling.
It's not a look any of his fellow servants would recognise, let alone his own master--a look that was reserved for only one man.
One man, whom by the sound of Arjuna's voice, seems to be missing.]
Do you think this is some sort of joke, Karna?
[There's a savagery to the Archer's voice that doesn't... seem to fit. As if Arjuna's face belongs to him--but the voice does not.]
You preach, for weeks, that you and I have been twisted by fate to hate each other--that our mother wished for us to stand side by side--then without a word, you disappear from the bathhouse?
What angle are you playing? Where are you? Hiding in some far corner of this island, having gotten your chance to make me suffer? How easy it was for me to consider that, perhaps, there could have been a chance to fix the grave mistake I made the day when I shot the head from your shoulders?
Hah.
Hahaha, hahahaa!
No, this is the perfect revenge, isn't it.
To spit in my face after seeing me wallow in my grief for so long.
[The expression falls from his face, and it returns to the usual, stonefaced stoic, a hand covering his face as he lets out a shuddering sigh.]
As you wish. You win.
Next time, I'll kill you again, for good.

After a long moment of decision making, he tries.]
Archer.

Why was Asterios suddenly in his head? It... has to be a coincidence. Right?]
Berserker.
[His voice has an amazingly controlled sound to it, but, there's something just underneath it.]

Action (because she knows his pattern by now...)
Fortunately, she's also familiar with his usual habits, too. And since he's not the type to go out much, let alone waste time trying to contact people while out and about... Well. The odds were pretty good that he's still in his room, so she may as well check that first before she does anything else.
"Arjuna?" she calls out from outside the door. She'll discreetly test the handle to see if it's unlocked, but won't open it yet if it is; if he's in there she wants to give him a little warning first.
a shut-in can always be trusted to be a shut-in
She would be right about his 'habit', he was most certainly bolted into his room--but as he hadn't quite realised right, his private message to his rival and brother wasn't so private at all.
So when he does test the door, she will find it unlocked. However, she will find the Archer sitting on the floor of his room, next to a squat little table. In the middle was a goldfish bowl, and he's staring at it with an intense expression. Eyes slide slightly to the side as she calls his name, and he wonders which he should do.
He could easily assume spirit form and pretend he isn't there.
But...
"...Master." He responds a little curtly, his tone somewhat quiet.

She steps into the room, gently closing the door behind her.
"You were broadcasting your thoughts on the amulets just now. About Karna."

Not an actual response
But really now, after Billy said that Tamamo was crazier than Kiyohi, conversing with two different Jekylls at the same time and now crazy Arjuna? Kiyohime thinks that maybe she is the sane one and that Berserkers just get a bad wrap.]
video; tags while at a meeting hahaha oops
[Sanson's voice is a stark contrast to Arjuna's - quiet, somber, controlled. He has been here long enough - nearly a year now - to know the whims of this world. This wasn't Karna's fault, but this may not be the right time to say that out loud.
Neither is he going to say anything about wanting to kill him. Really, who was Sanson to say that after he pursued Marie Antoinette in Orleans in the hopes of killing her again?]
NAUGHTY
He remembers, distinctly, that when he himself 'left', his amulet had been left behind. Jekyll had retrieved it from his room, after all.
Arjuna had checked Karna's room for the same after noticing the Lancer was missing, but turned up nothing. So he had thought...
He can feel his teeth clenching in his head, a rush of anger glows over the amulet between them. A raw, uncharacteristic emotion from the usually cool-headed archer.]
Oh. Is that right. Completely gone, but without the chance of returning, as I had.
[His voice roils with the very same emotion, but it's clear he's attempting to compose himself.]
What a joke of a man he is.
HUE HUE HUE
[The rush of anger meets a wall of calmness, which Sanson attempts to diffuse into the connection to alleviate Arjuna's negative emotions. Though Arjuna was indeed mostly cool-headed, Sanson knew Arjuna did have the capacity to exhibit anger like this.]

[Because that sure is...something that she just witnessed.]
voice
That was not my intent, no. It was for Karna's ears only.
But it's not as if it is not something he hasn't heard before. After all, every time we meet, no matter the world, no matter the circumstances, we are fated to kill one another.
I had thought the cycle would break here, but ah. How I was wrong. What a fool I was.
voice
[She'll think about that one for a moment. Not something that usually happens, but she's pretty sure she can figure out what happened here.]
Y'know you might not have to worry about this dramatic fated to kill each other thing now. I mean if he's not here anymore, the cycle's kind of broken, right?

And he has to think for a long hard moment on what to say.]
...is there anything you need? Other than being left alone of course?
Re: Voice
But, given he's feeling a little prickly as he's apparently been heard by many...
Well.]
I'm curious, Gawain.
Have you ever raised your blade above your head to strike down someone whom you weren't sure deserved final death?
Tell me, Knight of the Sun--have you ever taken the life of one who did nothing to earn death?
voice;
I have killed many in duels, people who didn't deserve it.
A duel is a duel, but sometimes the act of engaging in it in the first place was wrong.
...is this an accusation?
[If it's directed towards himself, Gawain will take it. He knows what his faults were in life. ]

Should he even bother? Ritsuka would probably take care of it he knew but...well, it was worth a try from the outsider's perspective.]
Hey. If there's no amulet, it means they are gone...it sucks but...don't think that they did this on purpose.
Re: Image
Even if he doesn't much like what the man has to say.]
...I have searched for it. Even using my Clairvoyance to try to find where he could have hidden it, in case he wished to do so. There is no sign of it.
[What a heavy feeling.]
He is a man who is destined to die by my hand every time we meet. It is simply fate--and yet this time, he escapes without working out our promised odds...
No, I'm sure this is his way of 'winning'.
[He's not convinced it wasn't done on purpose.]
Image
[Not him, however. He'd stay here for as long as he could.]
Man, no offence to you either, but fuck fate. I had enough of fate in my fucking life to last me one lifetime and the next.

Arjuna— [ At least, it looked like Arjuna? ] Do you want to talk?
voice.
And now seeing this.
Truly, she must see him as such a mess. His stomach twists as she speaks to him, and he considers not responding.
Pretend he didn't hear it, try to fix things--]
You're a hero to your people back home, are you not, Weiss?
Someone who protects the good, and fights evil?
Words...
Words, talking, speaking, communicating.
These cannot be weaponized against an enemy.
[A hand passes over his face.]
...In short, I am not proficient at 'talking'.
I was never very good at it.
voice.
While that may be the case, it's also important to communicate with people. I'm human— I'm not some kind of robot that I don't need to talk to anybody.
[ Arjuna said he's a Servant, though. That makes things different, but Weiss hopes he can still relate in some manner. ]
Even if you're not good, it doesn't mean that you should try.

That said, she's certain that there are some already trying to help him out. So, she'll continue doing whatever the hell Atalante does in her free time.]
voice; arjuna you ok there buddy
I have an extra Selenium candle if you want it.
voice; he pretends to be okay 90% of the time
He thinks about Karna appearing before him, and a feeling swells between the amulets--nausea mixed with, of all things, fear.
Grief, hatred--perhaps a mix of those feelings is what was causing this.]
...
I am not sure how I would react, if faced with a specter of him that I could not confront properly.
Your offer, while ... oddly touching. Is one that brings me uncertainty, Allan Walker.
voice; honestly mood but...if Allen does it too then it can't be healthy...
voice; who needs to be healthy!!! right allen??
voice; not them!! that's for sure!!! go team pretending everything is ok and pushing people away???
